Uri Barabash’s film follows five reserve soldiers, refusing to serve their duty as conscientious objectors. These two pilots and three combat soldiers define their own limits with regards to what is morally acceptable and what is not. The film reflects the debate of one’s own, thoughts, conclusion and the price paid from the choices they have made.
The film was produced for Channel 1 but eventually was shelved and never screened. As part of the coming Solidarity Festival, it will be screened during the “Who is Afraid Of consciousness freedom?”
After screening – a discussion directed by Yishai Menuhin and attended by Yonatan Shapira and other guests.
