13 years old Maya is taking care of her young brother, Dan, who is diagnosed with Asperger’s. When the two sleep at their father’s house Maya is almost Guy's Mom; dressing him up, feeding him, and taking him by the hand all the way to his classroom. Maya feels that she was forced into this complicated relationship, until one afternoon, when she witnesses Guy being bullied. This is the moment when she chooses to protect him and understands that their whole lives, this was always her own choice.
