A Guide to Gentrification

After many years of deliberate criminal neglect, Jaffa has been rediscovered as a coveted investment opportunity. The film follows the personal struggle of the veteran residents against the threat of eviction orders and reveals the metamorphosis that the city is going through, uncovering both its social and political meanings.

Alila

A chronicle of everyday life in a building situated on the border between Tel Aviv and Jaffa.

Esther

This first long feature, designed as an immense “tableau vivant” tells the Old Testament story of Esther, who does not know she is Jewish when she is chosen by King Ahasuerus as his wife.

Field Diary

The film consists of about fifty sequence shots conceived as autonomous capsules, mostly shot from a moving car as if this was its inseparable carriage, the moving base of the camera.

Friendship

The unique friendship of three former senior officers of the Israeli secret service, Reuven Chazak, Rafi Malka and Pelg Radi, who exposed the Bus 300 scandal, and paid a heavy personal price. They reveal rare incidents from their service, and their personal lives.

May 31st 2020, the morning after Iyad Al-Hallaq, a Palestinian with autism, was shot to death by border police soldiers in Old Jerusalem. Warde, his teacher who witnessed the shooting, is interviewed in the Israeli radio. By using her real words taken from her testimony, the film shows one short moment- when a Palestinian tragedy meets the Israeli ear.

The father leads them in on a path he sees fit, all the while viewing his wife and son only as burdens he must carry due to his social role of "the man of the family". His way eventually leads them to their probable death.

On youth, passions, and the line between courtship and sexual harassment: Gil's friends expect him to lose his virginity, but Gil is not yet sure he wants to. A random encounter leads to an event that he did not expect to happen.

The director created a portrait of a "girl" in the current era through a series of interviews with girls who live in the Kiryat Ya'arim youth village. The film raises issues dealing with women in society, social networks, body image, sexual harassment and more.

Nadia, a 13-year-old girl, understands that the state of the world’s climate is getting worse and if we do not act promptly and quickly to fix it, it may be too late. Nadia decides to put her personal life on hold, and despite her young age, she boldly goes to war for the environment, for the planet, for humankind.

The film tells the story of the director who is set on the autistic spectrum and his relationship with his grandmother and parents.

A film of a dark night’s journey on the streets of Tel Aviv, on the day of celebrating Israel's 73rd Independence Day. Manasha is looking for her mother, a foreign worker, who has not returned home from work. A chilling social document on the state of foreign workers in Israel.

A secret love story between a Jewish woman (Maayan) and a Muslim Arab man (Amir), which takes in hiding from families and friends place in a vineyard and a winery. When the two drink and fall asleep at the winery the winery’s kashrut supervisor sees them, his story finds its way to Maayan's father, and the secret is revealed. Could there be a chance for love?

Ronen Meirav is a friend of Ron Arad from pilot training, and he was active in the attempts to rescue him from captivity, which were unsuccessful. In recent years he has been active in bringing Avera Mengistu back from captivity, in an attempt to make amends.

The experience of her parents' separation is described through the eyes of a little girl, who is forced to move with her mother to a new apartment. At first everything looks pink, but reality is not the dance she dreamed of.
