The accusations of Shlomo's Argentinian friends against his father as an accomplice in the overthrow of Peron's popular government in 1955, takes Shlomo on a personal journey into his father's narrative and into the relationship between Peron, the Jews and Israel.
During this journey, Shlomo reached out to teenage friends of his from the period of the Perón presidency. He interviewed historians and researchers; as well as witnesses in Argentina and Israel, in a search that is both personal and political. There is a focus on the "political rift" that reverberates in Argentinian society to this day; as well as on the facets of what it is like to live as a Jewish minority outside of Israel.
