The Killing Of A Journalist

Following the brutal murder of a young investigative journalist and his fiancée in their home, the largest protest in Slovakia since the fall of communism upsurges, eventually leading to the overthrow of the government.

Dark secrets are hidden behind the murder: a confidential source leaks the details of the investigation to the journalist's colleagues, who point to a complicated network of oligarchs, politicians, judges and government officials, all connected to the murder and to the complex ongoing legal case.

The film follows the sequence of events following that brutal assassination, which triggered a social crisis and a warped political drama that haunts Slovakia to this day.
